The route is of moderate intensity and you will certainly appreciate the beauty of the lake much more after such a bike ride.
Day 2 - Putna Monastery
The Bucovina area is famous for the churches and monasteries built since the time of the Moldavian rulers. We recommend Putna Monastery, nicknamed "Jerusalem of the Romanian Nation" by Mihai Eminescu. Built between 1466-1469 in a Gothic architectural style, the monastery today houses the tomb of its founder, Stephen the Great, as well as a rich monastery museum with embroidery, manuscripts, religious objects, icons. Sucevita Monastery is one of the places where spirituality, faith and history come together.

Day 4 - Ride by cable car on the Rarău slope
Unlike bears, Rarău Slope goes into hibernation in summer. Our recommendation is to visit it even in the warm season and take a trip on the cable car. You'll be carried through the endless green of the forest, and once you reach the highest point your gaze will be delighted by a sea of fir trees stretching to the far horizon and beyond.
Day 5 - Vama Egg Museum
Decorated eggs are a common sight in Bucovina during Easter We invite you to the Egg Museum in Vama commune where you will discover an impressive collection of eggs, both from the Bucovina area and from other parts of Romania and even the world. Moreover, the mysteries of egg hatching will no longer be unknown. You will get acquainted with the working tool (the egg shell), the working techniques and the meaning of the symbols on the egg shell. Art, history and tradition are ready to conquer you at the Egg Museum in Vama.
Day 6 - Rarău Peak (hike Izvorul Alb trail)
To fully enjoy all the scenery offered by this area and the fresh mountain air, a hike to the top of Rarău is the perfect solution. We recommend the trail that starts from the Izvorul Alb area, a route that is currently inaccessible to cars. After a walk that delights your eyes, body, soul and mind, the grandeur of the mountain will seem more special and imposing. Such a relaxing walk will make you merge with nature.
Day 7 - Visit St. George Church (if Sunday)
The faith of the Sadovans is still strong, and religion is an important part of their lives. For the people of Sadova, Sunday is a day of celebration. All household chores are put aside and the church becomes the meeting place for everyone in the village. We recommend that you take part in one of the services held every Sunday in one of the village churches to see and understand the meaning of spiritual life in Sadova.
Day 8 - Ride on the Huțulca Old Train (Mocănița)
A narrow-gauge train, specific to mountainous areas, the mocănița has been one of the means of transporting timber, goods and passengers since the 19th century. Today, the old Moldovitsa coach is at the service of tourists to take them through the mountains and show them the beauty of the places it has been travelling for 4 centuries. We recommend such a trip, as this experience is unique.
